              ABOUT STEVE

I began my career in the restaurant industry as a line cook at the Holiday Inn in Annapolis, Maryland. During my high school years, I attended cooking school and worked my way up the ranks. I have worked in kitchens in Baltimore/Washington, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Nevada.

I really wanted to get into the understanding of wine and was 
fortunate enough to be brought into the family at Di Arie Winery. 


During my time there, I gained valuable insight into the different aspects of wine production and the hard work behind the scenes. I typically use Di Arie wines for my wine classes. and still work occasionally with the family.
