Steak Au Poivre with Hasselback potatoes and seasonal vegetables
Service Description
This class is ideal for those who want to learn how to cook an elegant French dinner without spending extensive hours in the kitchen. We will start with an Amuse Bouche, a small bite to open the meal, a baked Cranberry and Brie Phyllo cup. For the main course, we will focus on the classic French cut of meat, Filet Mignon, a level 4 grade beef. Accompanying the filet will be Hasselback potatoes; once you try these, you may find it hard to enjoy regular baked potatoes again! We’ll also feature seasonal greens, selecting the best vegetables based on the time of year to ensure optimum flavor and ripeness. For dessert, you can choose one of the following options: 1. Artisan Gourmet Ice Cream or Sorbet, which will change your life after just one bite. 2. French Classic Madeleines, always made to order. 3. Chocolate Soufflé, also made to order. Please note that the desserts will be prepared ahead of time and will not be a direct part of the class, except for baking in the oven. In the case of the gourmet ice creams, I will prepare them the day before.
