My wife and I recently enrolled in a cooking class at Silverado Cooking School in Napa. We were excited to learn new techniques and discover better ways of cooking. The facilities at the school were modern and well-equipped with the latest tools and equipment. Our cooking class began at 11 am and lasted for about three hours. The class theme was "Lunch from the Garden," which focused on using fresh fruits and vegetables from the school's garden in our menu. During the class, we were taught by two chefs who guided us through the menu and instructed us on each step. It was a very interactive class, and all the ingredients were prepared and ready to use. Overall, it was a great experience, and we learned many new techniques for everyday cooking. Be sure to double-click on any of the pictures for full size.

The pasta making by Chef Frances taught me new techniques that I now use when making pasta.

The far left side of the kitchen is used exclusively for dessert prep.
Below is a delicious Salad of Shaved Fennel, Avocado & Winter Citrus.
Here is one of two pasta dishes we completed, "Tortellini in Herb Brodo."
the tortellini was stuffed with ground chicken and spices.
An amazing broth!!
I want to thank Silverado for a fantastic experience.
